A 4th of July celebration so many years ago
Some cherished holiday memories never fade away
In a poll of neighbors who live within three blocks of our humble home, Thursday was unanimously selected as their favorite day of the week to celebrate the Fourth of July.
As it was explained to me, that almost assuredly guarantees a four-day weekend after a three-day work week, which, in my opinion, is how things should be 52 weeks of the year.
It's much like Thanksgiving weekend without football. Or Black Friday.
