MOSCOW, Idaho - Tim Plough has been UC Davis head football coach for 24 games as he goes deep into his second season as Aggie boss.

In that time he’s had a number of highs and several lows, but after the Aggies dismantled the Idaho Vandals, 28-14, Saturday in the iconic Kibbie Dome, Plough couldn’t contain his enthusiasm for the game he had just witnessed.

“Of those 24 games, this is by far the best win we’ve had,” Plough enthused.

“Last week (a 38-36 loss to Idaho State) was the worst loss I’ve experienced and to see how our players and coaches bounced back after that was a great Aggie Pride moment.”

The No. 10 Aggies are now 7-2 overall and 5-1 in Big Sky play with a massive challenge directly in front of them when they head to Bozeman Saturday to take on No. 2 Montana State, which moved to 8-2 and 6-0 with a 66-14 rout of Weber State.

The rare November night game (7:15 p.m. PST) will be nationally televised by ESPN2.
