An important choice for our town is just around the corner
Vote early, vote often and make your voice heard
I got asked the other day if I thought Measure V would win or lose when all is said and done on Election Day.
That is if that wacky sheriff running for governor doesn’t seize the ballots so we don’t learn anything on June 2.
On the “Yes” side this campaign started long ago. The opposition has formed more recently. But there is definitely passion among “No” voters.
The dramatic change from the last time this chunk of land was on the ballot several decades ago is the notion that decent housing should be a human right.
It used to be “progressive” to oppose growth. Now just the opposite is true.
