This week’s picks are as follows:

OREGON over MINNESOTA ... As the only former Pac-12 team actually excelling in a new conference, the Ducks continue to roll merrily along. A nail-biting win over Iowa last weekend keeps them in the playoff conversation.

USC over IOWA ... On paper this one might look even, but how the Hawkeyes can bounce back from last week’s near-miss with Oregon is the big unknown.

NOTRE DAME over PITTSBURGH ... The last major hurdle for the Irish to secure a playoff bid after an 0-2 start.
