It's all on the line tonight as Aggies take on Rhode Island at UC Davis Health Stadium
Explosive Rams will be a strong test for UC Davis' defense in nationally televised showdown
So, it has all come down to this.
A season that started with “fall” camp in late July has now stretched into December as the UC Davis Aggies play host to the Rhode Island Rams tonight at 7 p.m. at UC Davis Health Stadium.
The game, which will be nationally televised on ESPN2, is not sold out, so grab a coat and some warm gloves, put some hot chocolate in your Thermos and come see what Football Championship Subdivision football is all about.
The No. 8 Aggies bring an 8-3 mark into this second-round game after receiving a first-round bye in the 24-team field.
No. 9 Rhode Island, 11-2, advanced with a 27-19 first-round win over Central Connecticut State last Saturday.
The talented Rams may have been excited about earning a trip to “sunny” California, but truth be told, yesterday’s high temperature in fog-bound Davis was nearly identical to that in Kingston, where the URI campus is located.
