"H" IS FOR HELLSCAPE ... Can someone please explain why H Street, which runs along the railroad tracks from E. 8th to the historic Davis Little League Park out by the Covell Overpass, is such a disaster for motorists and bicyclists alike?
Yes, a number of our streets could use some work, but none as much as H Street.
Forget going to the State Fair at Cal Expo next month or the Yolo County Fair in Woodland in August, you can get a five-star thrill ride for free just by packing up the van and taking your family for a bumpy ride down H Street. Reminds me of the old Mad Mouse at the County Fair.
Just be sure that the local Urgent Care is open when you do take that ride.
