We were there and LOVE the photos you posted here. Not only do we have smart, committed people in our town, they are very clever sign-makers ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Thank You Bob and Mick. Your photos and script are fantastic and give us all HOPE. Here in colusa we had a small (50 to 60 folks and signs) but the spirit was as big as the 100s elsewhere.
Glad no photo coverage of the keffiyeh-laden anti-Israel crowed doing their signature drone chant. Someone drowned out their chants from the bleachers with "Free Palestine from Hamas!". The bleacher shouter was told by a member of Indivisible Yolo to "Stop being divisive", to which the chant silencer said, "They are being divisive. I'm responding to their divisiveness. You should go talk to them." Both chanters and I.Y. silenced by one person with a loud voice and a counter-chant . . . and no it wasn't me (but it could have been).
No more chanting! No more chanting! No more chanting!
Thanks Bob! We managed to make 2 protests on Saturday - lots of energy and every one behaving themselves. Both events set records for attendance!! A whole bunch of cars passing by honking encouragement. Very few counter protestors, people were respectful. This is a deep red part of the country. Keep the momentum up
I was there, a great event. One speaker b4 we bravely marched through the downtown cautioned us to be respectful and not respond to insults. The same speech Iโd heard in 68, i was with some other folks my age who like me had been there. We laughed. Nothing of course as we marched but support. We reminded others that if u want to c adverse reactions march in Redding where their school board now hosts several proud boys/oath keepers.
Excellent photo essayโฆ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
The signage is some of the best everโฆthe heartfelt American spirit IS the best ever.
Bunch of creative folks in this town. I'd gladly be their King, ruling from my East Davis Palace.

Thanks, Diane. That rally gave me great hope.

Which rallies did you attend, Drew? Such encouraging words.
We are in Knoxville, TN. Over 8,000 attended here. Also Maryville, TN, est 2000.
It was great to be able to talk to people with a similar world view. All ages too!
