Swim etiquette: what to do to prevent underwater warfare
Miss Manners to the rescue with straight talk in the locker room
I refuse to read the writings of any newspaper’s so-called “advice” columnists, mostly because I’m sure many of them make up the questions that supposedly come from their readers.
I also have no idea about their qualifications for passing out suggestions to complete strangers.
After all, there are no more than a dozen or so problems or awkward situations that folks face in their daily lives, but some of these advice columnists crank out over 200 columns a year.
One of the most widely read and respected advice columnists is Miss Manners, who is a living legend among those seeking free guidance.
