Trump proposes a TV blackout to protect his new pals at CBS
You'd better watch the Army-Navy football game or face arrest and deportation
As the Commander in Chief of our Armed Forces, President Donald Trump has now rightly taken complete control of the most important aspect of military life, the annual Army-Navy football game.
Army and Navy are indeed military institutions training potential career officers in a variety of disciplines, but for the purposes of college football they are under the auspices of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
While the regular season of college football without exception ends on the first Saturday of December with conference championship games, Army and Navy have been granted a special exemption from the NCAA to play their annual contest on the second Saturday of December as the final game of the regular season. As such, it is the only regular-season major college football game being played on that date nationwide.
That special exemption is apparently not enough for the Commander in Chief, who has issued an Executive Order that no football game of any kind may be played when the Army-Navy game is going on.
