How are ballots delivered to Yolo Co. Elections…by horse and buggy, on an “once a week“ basis?
And/or, who’s counting our ballots…Flash Slothmore the DMV clerk from Zootopia? (IYKYK)
To paraphrase dialog from The Legend of Bagger Vance: “This is become embarrassing.” “No sir. It’s’ been embarrassing for quite some time.” (Again, IYKYK).
Just read Diane’s concession statement. Classy as I expected. Sad in a sense. We made recommendations to both candidates ignored. We told Ryan he’d probably get the 2nd appointment in Tim fall’s prior department. And we told Diane some time ago to launch a D.A. Campaign after making sure Jeff’s not going to run again or apply for the recently filled commissioner position as a stepping stone. It will be harder for her demos like their own and always have a favorite to whom they are beholding.
Next Tuesday at 4 PM? Still seems like an embarrassingly long wait for the next "vote release," whatever that means. When will final results be out? Regardless, thank you for the update, Bob....
The county has indicated that all mail-in ballots have been counted. However, there are still 1,036 unprocessed ballots of some kind for a variety of reasons.
That, however, appears to be a countywide total, not strictly a Davis total concerning Measure V. Apparently, the number of unprocessed Davis ballots is just over 400. So even though the margin is down to 270, there isn't much wiggle room there for Yes on V. Hopefully, we'll get some more clarity soon. And I'm even starting to wonder about a recount.
Well, you are now the leading source of information in this town.
Thank you so much, Andre.
Very kind of you to say.
…yet again this begs a couple of questions:

Is Bagger Vance related to someone important?
Wouldn’t THAT be a hoot?

Two good candidates. Both ran good campaigns and stayed away from negativity. Huge number of voters did not vote either way in this race.
