The Wary One

The Wary One

Which gubernatorial candidate will finally become the leader of the pack?

“Lackluster (adjective): lacking in brilliance and vitality, describes something or someone who is dull, uninspired or blah”

The hour is late.

And yet, like many of my fellow Californians, I just shrug my shoulders when I’m asked “Who are you going to vote for?” in the governor’s race.

Sadly, absolutely no one has moved the needle for me. No one has raised my blood pressure. No one has put together a compelling argument as to why he or she should lead the most populous state in the country, a state I dearly love and plan never to leave.

Heck, I even considered Barack Obama Shaw, but he’d have to show me his birth certificate first.

Then again, candidate Steve Hilton wasn’t born in this country. Neither was Arnold Schwarzenegger.
